The Community Relations Representative is responsible for building local relationships and increasing patient traffic for General, Orthodontic, and Specialty dentistry to a selected group of local dental offices. The successful Representative will achieve this aim through entrepreneurial retail marketing actions, creativity and leadership within their selected region. Specifically, the Representative will lead outreach efforts to promote the dental office within a 10-mile community radius, in partnership with the local office manager and teams. This position reports to either a Community Relations Director or Retail Marketing Manager depending on the region; the candidate must be capable of working independently but also be a team player with the local offices, regional operations leaders, and functional training experts. The role requires an entrepreneurial and problem-solving mindset, a confident "can do" sales mentality, and extremely strong communication skills.

Key Responsibilities & Measurement:

Objective: Build Local Relationships and Increasing Patient Traffic through Local Actions

* Actively lead efforts to increase patient foot traffic to the company's local dental offices via outreach to community organizations (including churches, health organizations, and community support groups), local businesses, Chamber of Commerce, schools, residential facilities and employers.

* Recommend and (upon approval) build and execute local promotional and engagement programs that encourage prospective patients and community members to tour the dental office, meet the office team, schedule appointments, or otherwise engage with the local office.

* Identify and pursue opportunities to promote the dental offices by partnering with other organizations (e.g. employer, school or community health fairs). Build and lead execution of outreach events and educational opportunities with local schools and community organizations.

* With support of the corporate office team and guidance of Community Relations Director or Retail Marketing Manager, recommend, create, deploy, measure and improve local marketing materials & tools to better increase patient visits for General, Orthodontic and Specialty dentistry.

Success in this role will primarily be measured based on increases in new patient appointments and related patient foot traffic (i.e. appearing for these appointments). The role will include performance bonuses for achieving and exceeding patient traffic targets.

Additionally, lead or support ribbon-cutting and open house events at new and re-launched offices. Ensure local offices have the appropriate marketing materials and tools on hand and in-use. At all times, serve as a passionate leader and advocate for the company's offices, brands, and for excellence in quality patient care.

Requirements

* 1+ years of relevant local marketing, sales, or outreach experience

* Exceptional communication and/or selling skills

* Unquestioned personal integrity, personal accountability and work ethic. Critically, must be able to succeed while working remotely from direct manager and team

* Patient-centric and team oriented mindset

* Prefer relevant BA/BS degree and relevant sales or marketing experience (optional)
