Job DescriptionThe Associate Team Leaders works closely with the Team Leader to ensure smooth operation of the department. The Associate Team Leader will assist in personnel issues, supervision of team, and all other aspects of the produce department. Maintains a positive company image by providing courteous, friendly and efficient customer service. Supports Team Leader and Regional Coordinator in maintaining regional standards. Principle Duties and Responsibilities: Assist Team Leader in buying for the department. Provide excellent customer service. Work a variety of shifts. Handle all schedule requests and scheduling for the department needs. Assist with all payroll-processing duties. Meets and communicates with Team Leader on a regular basis. Train new members in the department on expectations, safety and sanitation. Assist with all hiring, counseling, and terminations. Understand and help meet all labor and margin targets. Participate in monthly inventory. Capable of performing all Team Leaders duties in their absence. Ability to perform opening and closing procedures. Insure all sanitation requirements are consistently meet. Update training materials on a regular basis. Motivate team. Lead by example. Perform other tasks as assigned by Team Leader and store leadership.
