Job Overview:
Coordinate the production of promotional event communication; manage Store & Merchant Portal content and special projects.
Essential Functions:
• Promotional Event Communication (50%) – Coordinate the production and publication of promotional event execution materials
• Stores and Merchant Portal Administration (30%) – Audit published documents and remove outdated or irrelevant materials simplifying navigation for Stores.
• Manage allocation of 16th Floor Auditorium space for merchant/planning/stores meetings and events.
• Manage Star Daily content to ensure timely important communication for our stores
• Manage Gatekeeping mailbox to ensure timely responses and actions to all inquiries
• Special Projects (20%)
• Perform these functions in an efficient manner, as directed by the Supervisor
• Regular, dependable attendance and punctuality.
Qualifications:
Education/Experience:
• High School degree or equivalent.
• College degree, preferred.
• Some Retail experience, preferred.
• Prior experience a plus.
Communication Skills:
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Effective written and verbal skills, ability to interpret instructional documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Mathematical Skills:
• Basic math functions such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
Reasoning Ability:
• Self-starter, able to work independently and as part of a team and must have good time management skills.
Physical Demands:
• Requires constant moving and standing; must be able to stand for at least two consecutive hours.
• Must be able to lift at least 30 lbs.
• May occasionally be required to reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, and climb ladders.
• May have to reach above eye level.
• Involves close vision, color vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.focus.
Other Skills:
• Ability to quickly learn and apply knowledge of systems to business process.
• Ability to use Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong follow-up and organizational skills.
• Ability to collaborate and function as a member of a team.
• Must possess a strong sense of urgency.
• Should be comfortable with the use of computers and frequent use of RF equipment.
Work Hours:
• Flexible with scheduling and available to work retail hours, which may include day, evening, weekends, and/or holidays.
