Experienced Body Shop Technicians are needed to perform the following diagnostic procedures and repairs on a Fleet of Diesel Engine Vehicles for our client in West Babylon, NY:
Body Shop Technician Position Job Description:
• Cab/Sheet Metal Repair
• Composite Repair/Bonding
• Heating/Air Conditioning Systems
Body Shop Technician Position Other Duties:
• Suspension Repair/Alignment
• Electrical/Brake/Cooling System
• Painting/Mixing/Tinting/Blending
• Welding/Fabricating
• Surface Preparation
• Fiberglass Repair
• Box Repair/Replacement
Qualified Candidates For Body Shop Technician Position Will Have The Following Education/Experience:
• 3 years of practical experience OR An Equivalent combination of related education and experience is required.
• A current CDL with Air Brake Certification is required.
• Specialized training and experience in the repair/refinish of all series of truck and trailer preferred.
• Proficiency in the use of all tools of trade required.
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook required.
• Vocational/Technician School preferred.
• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Trade school, mechanical course, or equivalent highly desired.
Working Conditions:
Shop, office, yard, vehicle environment, may require lifting of 20 to 50 lbs., at least once a day.
