Diesel Technician/Mechanic Position

An Experienced Heavy Equipment Mechanic is needed to perform repairs and maintenance on Forklifts and 924 G Wheel Loaders for our client in Plano, TX.
Diesel Technician/Mechanic Position Job Description:
• Perform Preventative Maintenance on Forklifts and 924 G Wheel Loaders.
• Complete most repairs and parts replacements.
• Accurately complete written record of work performed.
• Maintain a clean work and shop area as directed.
• Other duties may be assigned.
Diesel Technician/Mechanic Position Primary Duties:
• Preventative Maintenance
• General Maintenance
Qualified Candidates For Diesel Technician/Mechanic Position Will Have The Following Education/Experience:
• Qualified Candidates Will Have One of the Following: (1) A High School Diploma or equivalent and 1 year of experience OR (2) 4 years of experience.
• ASE Certificates are preferred; Mechanical or Trade School Certificates are preferred.
• Welding and/or Fabrication skills are preferred.
• Must possess a valid cleared driver's license.
• Must provide a basic set of tools.
• Trade school, mechanical course, or equivalent highly desired.
Working Conditions:
Shop, office, yard, vehicle environment, may require lifting of 20 to 50 lbs., at least once a day.
