Cashier - Full-time

Cashiers are responsible for handling their work in a courteous, productive manner, working within corporate policies and procedures. A Cashier shall have the authority to fulfill their responsibilities as defined below:

OPERATIONS:
A Cashier is responsible for accurate and correct handling of all merchandise and gasoline sales transactions, vendor delivery and situations, store cleanliness, lottery sales and redemption's, store stocking and Guest (Customer) service during their work time. They are also responsible for maintaining company standards of .10% cash variation of all dollar sales and .75% (at cost) variation for inventory of merchandise sales.

MERCHANDISING:
A Cashier is responsible for correctness of retail pricing, acceptance of only authorized product, maintaining the store layout, maintaining only fresh product available for sale, and carrying our promotions, programs and other aspects of Kent Kwik's merchandising and marketing programs in their store.

ACCOUNTING:
A Cashier is responsible for producing timely, accurate, and legible work on all store documents and reports they are asked to work and/or complete. A shift change (cash reconciliation) is required both coming on and getting off duty.

PERSONNEL:
A Cashier is responsible for conducting themselves in a courteous, business-like manner, and for maintaining good personal appearance and hygiene.
