ASE Certified Mechanic - Full-time / Part-time

The ASE Certified Mechanic is responsible for inspection, repair and maintenance services. Experience with All Data Service Center a plus. The ASE Certified Mechanic works with lube and oil filter, transmission service, alignment, computer systems diagnosis, tune-up, brake systems, steering and suspension. The ASE Certified Mechanic must have the ability to explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals which may include other associates and customers.

A Valvoline Instant Oil Change ASE Certified Mechanic must be ready to continuously learn new technical information and techniques in formal training sessions in order to stay abreast with rapidly changing automotive technology. The ASE Certified Mechanic will also be responsible for maintaining an organized service department. This is a full time position and is a great opportunity for the right candidate!

Job Requirements

• ASE Certified
• Own tools preferred
• Experience with All Data Service Center a plus
• Minimum of 2 years experience
• Have a positive, friendly attitude, along with a customer service mentality and the ability to be a team player.
• Enjoy working in a fast paced environment and demonstrate a high sense of urgency/energy.
• Possess the desire and ability to learn, as well as demonstrate personal responsibility.
• Have ability to successfully identify, develop and lead people.
• Demonstrate a drive for results and possess an ownership mentality, as well as have the ability to successfully solve problems and make decisions.

Physical Requirements

• Able to lift up to 60 pounds.
• Have full body mobility and be able to twist, turn, bend at the waist, squat and go up and down stairs.
• Able to work on your feet for extended periods of time with hands above the head.
• Able to learn and utilize various automotive tools and POS computer system.
