Visiting Angels is a nationally respected network of over 400 non-medical, private duty home care agencies providing senior care, elder care, personal care, respite care and companion care to help the elderly and adults continue to live in their homes across America. 

The Lexington agency is seeking experienced caregivers, CNA's and/or STNAs to assist clients living in their homes with everyday tasks.  These positions are for part-time.

Caregiver/CNA Job duties Include:

• Non-medical, in-home care
• Respite for family
• Personal Hygiene Assistance – Bathing and Toileting
• Meal Planning and Preparation / Diet Monitoring
• Medication Reminders
• Light Housekeeping and Laundry
• Ambulatory / Mobility Assistance
• Transportation, Errands and Shopping
• Companionship and friendship for seniors and other clients

 Requirements

 Caregiver / CNA Requirements:

• A dedication and passion to serving seniors
• A strong sense of responsibility and cheerful personality
• A positive and dependable attitude
• Ability to work in a personal, one-on-one care environment
• 1+ years of hands on experience, either in a private home or facility
• CNA certification a plus
• Dementia Experience preferred
• Strong work history with verifiable references from the facilities or families you have worked for in the past with names, phone numbers, addresses, and dates of employment including the names of your supervisors
• Successful completion of a Criminal Background Check, TB and Drug Testing,  and other mandated tests
• Personal transportation with current auto insurance and valid drivers license
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs
