The primary function of a Lube Technician is to safely provide an excellent service experience for our customers. Lube Technicians work with their hands on cars, such as changing oil and filters, adding fluids, checking tire pressure and washing windows. They must also have the ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals, as well as be able to speak effectively with customers and other employees.
Applicants must have a High School Diploma or GED and valid TN drivers License. You are required to be able to legally drive the customers vehicles so a valid liscence IS required.
Training may take place at our Cedar Bluff Jiffy Lube Service Center location (1002 North Cedar Bluff Knoxville, TN 37923) so that the functions of the Lube Technician can be learned correctly and then the potential employee will be placed at a nearby location once the training is completed.
