Each day, our Food Specialists are responsible for planning and preparing nutritionally balanced and appetizing family-style meals and snacks for children and staff. We are looking for dependable and caring individuals, who can work independently to take accurate inventory of food supplies, create food orders as necessary, plan menus and take pride in the meals they prepare for our students. Each Food Specialist is expected to maintain a positive and supportive relationship with school staff, children, parents and regulatory officials.

To be considered for this position, you must meet all state licensing requirements listed below:
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• HS Diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in cooking and food preparation for multiple individuals, preferably in child care food programs, a public institution or restaurant
• Good interpersonal and communication skills and good hygiene
