Cashier/Host - Full-time / Part-time

We are looking for a fun customer oriented individual to run the register and seat customers accordingly. Billie's is open from 7am- 2pm daily and closed Mondays.

Overview:

The Restaurant Host/Hostess/Cashier provides outstanding customer service by monitoring customer traffic flow, acknowledging and seating customers upon arrival, taking take-out orders, managing the cash register, and thanking customers at their departure.

Key Accountabilities:
Follow Food Division Best Practices
Demonstrate current and working knowledge of Food Service area
Ensure dining room is properly set for customer service
Effectively deals with multiple customers and seats customers at clean tables avoiding over-seating
Communicate customer requests or concerns and service flow issues with servers and manager on duty
Knowledgeable of servers' duties and responsibilities, table numbers and station assignments
Answer phone and take to-go orders in a well executed manner
Follow Food Safety standards and maintains work area and equipment in accordance with Health Department standards
Follow station specific duties and responsibilities

Open and/or close area following appropriate checklist, verifies completion with Manager on Duty prior to leaving the area
Maintain PAR stock levels and standards in product presentations
Maintain hygiene and professional dress code to comply with Food Division and Health Department standards
Work with the bus team to assist in clearing and resetting tables during peak periods
Work scheduled shifts as assigned
Other duties as assigned by supervisor
Must be able to work holiday and weekends
Memorize food menu and able to work on POS systems for orders
