We were overwhelmed and very impressed with all of the job search advice that came to us from the Snagajob Tip-off. Thank you to everyone who reached out and served up their best job-search advice. They were all so important and we’re working on compiling all of the advice into one awesome blog post.
Our judges narrowed the playing field down to eight and you voted (bracket-style) until we were down to the final winner!
A big congratulations to Ben from Utah for submitting the winning entry:
A job is only good if you can keep it, so start your job search with a work ethic and willingness to learn.
We love this advice, Ben! A positive attitude is imperative when you’re searching for a job.
Finding a job isn’t always the easiest thing in the world and there may be times you feel like throwing in the towel and giving up. But by keeping your head up and taking all the necessary steps to land a job, something will come your way.
When you do nail that job that you’ve been waiting for, it will be a big life adjustment. But if you’ve treated your job search like a job itself, you will make the transition easier and will be able to spend more time impressing your boss instead of getting used to setting a schedule and reporting to someone.
