OTR Truck Driving Jobs

Schneider jobs as an OTR Truck Driver position features long haul service opportunities, with a 600 mile average length of haul. Our customer base and large trailer pool provide for more drop and hooks and advanced delivery times to help keep truck drivers moving and earning money. Our extensive Operating Center network offers safe parking and a variety of services - food, laundry, showers, Wi-Fi and lounges, combined with fueling and maintenance. • Hiring area: entire states of AL, AR, MS and northern & southeastern LA
• Primary travel area: east of the US Rockies and occasionally Ontario, CN
• Out up to 2 weeks and home 1-3 days
• Earn mileage and accessorial pay, plus potential for $.02-$.03 performance bonus
• $41,000 to $50,000 average annual pay
• 95% no touch, mostly drop & hook
• Extensive facility network for parking and relays

OTR Trucking Job Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL in state of residence
• Most jobs require 6 months of experience
• Hazmat endorsement and passport or FAST card preferred

Owner Operator Truck Driving Jobs

This position features access to Schneider's comprehensive freight network, as well as 24/7 business support that can dramatically improve the success of your business.

• Contractors pick freight from Schneider's freight boar
• Depending on preference, typically out 2 weeks with 2-3 days off
• 65% of linehaul revenue. 100% of fuel surcharge and accessorial at the time the load is completed
• 125,000 to 160,000 annually
• 70% drop & hook, average utilization 2500 miles per week
• No Trailer Fees or Qual Quam Usage Fees

Schneider Owner/Operator Requirements:

• Applicants must be 21 years old with valid driver's license, good driving record, & solid work history
• Must have a minimum of 12 months of experience as an owner-operator/fleet driver
• Hazmat endorsement required
• Laptop computer with wireless internet required
