I had just happened to take a day out of my schedule just to fill out job applications. Since most companies post their applications online, I spent most of my time on SnagAJob.com. A few days later, I received a call from the hiring manager at Subway about scheduling an interview the day afterwards. Being that this was the first opportunity since my first job at Chuck E. Cheese's (with whom I was employed with for 3 years on and off). I was excited and scared out of my mind. Coincidentally it was right across the street from Subway *chuckle*.
Thanks to the help of the "job interview advice" column (and the support of family as well), I got over my anxiety in time for the interview and had an excellent turnout. A friend told me about SnagAJob.com so I signed up. One of the many applications I submitted was for a part-time job with Contemporary Services Corporation. I was invited for an interview and offered a job on the spot. They are very flexible with their scheduling. I get to pick and choose if and when I work. They cover quite a few of the sports and entertainment fixtures and although it was work, I got to be at the Lady Gaga concert on New Year's Eve. Thanks SnagAJob.com! I wanted to take this opportunity to say THANK YOU for helping me land a job. It took only about 3 days for Old Navy to contact me, call me in for an interview, and then hire me!! Well, I was looking for my very first job and most places I went weren’t taking in paper applications. My boyfriend at the time told me about how he found his job on SnagAJob.com. Before I came across SnagAJob.com, I thought I would never get a job. It was kinda hard at first to find one but then, once I signed up with SnagAJob.com everything just started falling in place. I used SnagAJob.com for most of the time that I was unemployed (about 2 months). It would take me 30 minutes to fill out the average online application. This site is unique. Hi SnagAJob.com! I would just like to express my sincere thanks to you for assisting me in finding secondary employment. In these very difficult times that we as a country have been faced with, it's good to know that there is a resource available out there that really works! In searching the web, I've come across so many sites that really are not what they say they are! I had been laid off for two months , and was denied unemployment. I applied for a few jobs through the department of labor with no success. I tried temp agencies and even did a couple of walk ins. I applied for Follett Higher Education Group on 8/11/09 and got a call for an interview the next day. The interview was at 11 am on 8/13/09 and blew it out the park. Although it was my first real interview(and a group one at that) I did very well and pretty much knew I was a shoe-in. The day before the interview I prepared by asking my significant other to mock interview me and looked up all the tips I could from the snagajob job advice section. After 30 years in the business meeting arena, I found myself without a job at the end of January '09. Living in Michigan and working primarliy with the automotive industry, there was little hope of that job ever coming back. Unfortunately, I also encountered some major health issues in May. My recovery from surgery and subsequent chemotherapy would not bode well in looking for a job -- even one part-time. I signed up with snagajob.com and saw that my local Kmart was looking for part-time cashiers. I thought "why not, what do I have to lose?" I was given an interview and literally was given the job that day even after explaining what I was going through health-wise. I am pleased to report that I've acquired employment through your website. I am now an employee of Jo-Ann Fabrics in Fremont, CA!I am starting off in a part time position but with the next year hope to move on up to full time. My job interview went really well, in fact, the kind lady that hired me said that she enjoyed the interview (as did I). I read all the job interview tips & advice for moving on up in the work place. Hopefully in a couple of years I will be I might be able to work in a manager position which is a goal I have set for myself. Where do I start, it still looks like a dream to me because everything came together so fast. I am currently working, but I was looking for a second job. On this Monday I was talking to my co-worker about getting a second job, and there were SnagAJob.com flyers sitting near our cashiers. My friend took one of the flyers and gave to me. When I got home, I went straight for the computer to check out this web site I never heard of. It took me less than 10 minutes to open an account, make a profile, apply for a job with Vector, and make a phone call for an interview with them. I went to the interview today, and I got a second job with Vector. Snagajob.com makes the other guys look like jokes. My recommendation for you is to stay 10 minutes ahead of the competition because you do such a very good job. I know a great service requires lot of effort, and you guys are THE BEST EVER. Well, to start off, it all happened in the blink of an eye. I got an email from SnagAJob.com on Tuesday, I filled the application out late that night, Six Flags called me Wednesday, and I got hired that Thursday. I was just way too happy to even talk. Well what can I say... I am impressed with the quick response I got, I didn't know if applying online would work, I'm so glad I gave it a shot... I was called for an interview on Tuesday June 2nd at JCPenney that same day I was called for interview number 2 and the following day on June 3rd I went for interview number 3 where I was told I would be a great addition to their team yayyy!!! I don't start training until next week on June 9th but I'm excited to learn new things and I'm actually looking forward to it... I worked at Wal-Mart for 9 and a half years when I decided to take a break but my break has been more than pleasant and now I'm ready to get out of the house and meet new people and be outgoing.
