The CCU at Mon Health Medical Center is a 10-bed critical care unit. The CCU staff admits patients directly from the operating room who have undergone open heart surgery for bypass, valve repair and replacement, and aortic aneurysm repair. The CCU also frequently admits vascular surgery patients and medical ICU overflow patients.
