A Cook at Denny’s is the maestro of the kitchen. You’re in the driver’s seat, setting the pace, keeping the kitchen ahead of the flow of business. Whether it’s pancakes or steaks, great food comes from you in a timely, efficient and guest pleasing way – every time!
A Denny’s Cook has a “Guests First” attitude, preparing food to set recipes following brand standards for proper food temperature and presents it on a great looking plate, all while maintaining a clean and sanitary work environment. The Cook also:
- Honors guest requests for special orders.
- Correctly calls the wheel.
- Cleans, completes side work, and organizes supplies as required.
- Monitors waste and other food cost controls.
- Willingly assisting other team members without being asked.
- Provides total guest satisfaction.
While we may not need to hire a Cook immediately, we’re constantly looking for terrific people. If you have a passion for great food and great service, come on in. We’ll accept your application day or night… we’re always open.
