Service Associate DIVISION: Operations Reports to General Manager or Manager on Duty SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES Maintains highest level of Quality, Service, and Cleanliness in all work  assignments. Prepares and serves food products according to approved Krystal procedures. Follows approved Krystal procedures  and schedules for cleaning and sanitation of food preparation area, storage areas, equipment,  and utenslls. Works in product  preparation or customer  service as assigned by the General Manager. SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES Maintains 'highest possible level of Product Quality. Prepares food  products  according to approved  Krystal procedures. Adheres to approved  Krystal holding times  and temperatures. Packs all food  products  in approved  Krystal containers,  lids, and bags.     2. Maintains highest possible level of Customer  Service. Understands  and uses established  Customer Service standards. Follows all approved  Krystal cash handling  and security  procedures Is courteous  to all customers  and co-workers.     3. Maintains  highest possible level of Cleanliness. Always has neat, dean  appearance;  adheres to grooming  standards  in Restaurant  Manual, including  clean uniform  daily. Keeps food  preparation  area, equipment,  and utensils clean and sanitary. Meets  Krystal specifications  for sanitary food  handling  procedures. Keeps lobby, front  counter,  drive-thru,   packing areas, and restrooms  neat and clean throughout   he day. Keeps parking  lot and building  exterior clean and free of litter.     4. Other Responsibilities. Follows approved  Krystal cash handling,  safety, and security  procedurese   Understands  posted weekly work  schedule and reports  to work  as scheduled. Performs other  duties as required  by General Manager  JOB REQUIREMENTS Must be at least 16 years of age.  Must be able to  perform  the essential functions  of the position.  Is certified  as a Service/Production   Associate only after two jobs in that  category  are successfully completed. GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Flexible work  hours and punctual  work attendance. Pleasing personality. Some heavy lifting  may be required  (in the range of 25 to 54 lbs.). Extended standing  is required. Hearing in normal  ranges must be present due to auditory  alarms for some cooking equipment. Reading of menus, manuals, and training  aids required. Manual  dexterity  in packing food  containers. Ability  to work with  others  in somewhat  confined  spaces. Capable of working  with  flour.  meats. and vegetables. Capable of maintaining  personal safety around  high temperature   equipment,   hot water,  and shortening. Mathematical   abilities  in preparation  of reports  and counting  money.
