Produce sterilant cups in a fast-paced production line, using automated and manual equipment, while maintaining quality and safety standards.
Employees will be trained and operate the following stations according to quality and safety standards:

Automated Membrane: This station is responsible for sealing the membrane to the lid. This includes: filling machine with lids; placing sealed lids in boxes; and visually inspecting lids. Maintain logs to track lot numbers, rejected parts, and machine settings (air pressure, temperature, etc.). Complete Production Tracking Tags and pack boxes to be sent to next station. Manual Powder Station: This station is responsible for releasing powder and inserting acid capsule into sterilant cup. This includes: filling hopper with powder from blend room; filling sterilant cup with powder; inserting acid capsule in cup; and stacking carts to be sent to next station. Weigh random cups to ensure proper weights, make adjustments to computer if weights are inaccurate. Ensure lot number is correct and Production Tracking Tag is completed, send to next station.

Manual Sealing Line: This station is responsible for the sealing and boxing of the sterilant cup. This includes: completing daily checklist (assuring machine settings are correct); running test cups at beginning of shift; inspecting cup; and placing cup in lid sealer. Cup is placed in box, sealed with glue gun and sent down conveyor to next station.

Manual Packing: This station is responsible for the final packaging of the product. This includes: packing individual sterilant boxes into shipping box and sealing; labeling box; and visually inspecting finished product. Ensure lot numbers/lot changes are correct and complete Production Tracking Tag.

Automated Powder Fill/Seal: This station is responsible for the mechanical process of filling and sealing the sterilant cup. This includes: stocking materials; completing appropriate paperwork (control charts, production tracking sheet, downtime tracking sheet, etc.); visually inspect product; drop cups into machine to seal lid and box; and final packing product.

Ensure safe operation at all times by wearing proper PPE, reporting or correcting unsafe conditions, and recommending changes or improvements.

Conduct minor maintenance on equipment or complete work request for the maintenance department to complete.  Reject non-conforming material.

Must be able to run electric/manual pallet lift, restock materials as needed thru out the day and stock materials for the start of the shift.
