Sheet metal manufacturer is looking for a full time opening for Press Brake Setup/Operator.
Min 3 yrs. experience with Cincinnati equipment helpful
Pay based on experience
Min Requirements:
- Ability to read, understand, and interpret blueprints
- Ability to solve basic bending problems
- Ability to use precision measuring devices such as Calipers, Height Gages, Etc.
- Basic math skills
- Good attention to detail
- Ability to envision objects three dimensionally
- Ability to select proper tools and calculate data to complete machine set up
- Energetic and motivated
- Able to lift 50 lbs.
Qualifications
- Experienced with Cincinnati Press Break a must
- Ability to read blueprints and complete basic shop math along with knowledge of flat pattern layout on sheet metal parts
- Must have a complete understanding of machine Set Up and Operation
- Able to read orders
- Ability to prepare and run complex bend setups and forming operations
Job Description
- Set-Up, operate, and maintain Cincinnati Press Break machine
- Enter and adjust complex codes into Amanda controller
- Selecting proper tooling and machining accessories
- Ability to meet daily/weekly production goals and critical time schedules
