B.K. Sweeny’s Parkside Tavern functions as the main gathering place for many Bethpagers and visitors to the area.  The Tavern excels in its second role as the 19th hole for five superb golf courses located only moments away within Bethpage State Park.  In the heart of the village, the Tavern suggests a cozy English pub with rich oak appointments and dark green accents.

Our patrons are serious sports fans, so 23 satellite TVs beam in the action, in and around our 56 foot oval bar.  We cook delicious and hearty food!  Super steaks, homemade chicken pot pies, pasta and fresh seafood.

Specific Functions and Duties:

• Accommodates any special needs of guests, i.e., boosters, highchairs, disabilities.
• Manages the Wait List when the restaurant is full.
• Provides guest assistance to servers as needed.
• Maintains a clean and organized work area and completes cleaning as assigned

Qualification Standards:

• Reading, writing and verbal communication skills required.
• Mobility required during the entire shift.
• Transports and carries objects (such as high-chair) up to 15 pounds up to 15 times a shift.
• Ability to wipe down table tops, table legs, pick up debris off the floor and wipe down booth seats in all areas of the restaurant.
