Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing Outside Sales for the Chick-fil-A at Killeen franchised restaurant. The candidate will be responsible for gaining leads, following up on catering bids, and delivery of food in accordance with Chick-fil-A standards.

Marketing/Outside Sales Assistant responsibilities include:

• Working with the Restaurant Marketing Director / Restaurant Owner/Operator to create and execute marketing plan
• Assist the Restaurant Marketing Director in executing the marketing plan
• Achieve monthly outside sales goals
• Assist in marketing events in order to gain leads / grow outside sales
• Building relationships within the community (achieved by distributing PALs/BOGs at community events, distributing food and catering menus to local businesses, setting up cross-promotions and school programs, as well as involving Chick-fil-A in community-wide events.)
• Must be CFAA certified within 30 days of employment (training and testing provided by restaurant)

Job Characteristics:

• Traditionally, a Marketing/Outside Sales Assistant works 15-20 hours per week (for a single Unit)
• The job responsibilities enable a flexible work schedule.
• Specific hours vary depending on the task to be accomplished. (e.g. may involve Saturday work)
• Use of a personal vehicle is required for sales leads, food distribution, and deliveries. A car allowance is included in the compensation package.
• Outside Sales or previous marketing experience is a plus.
• Must be a self-starter.

• You must have the ability to take initiative and possess skills for problem solving and conflict resolution.
