Foundry Maintenance Technician

Foundry Maintenance Technician Level 2

This is a 2nd or 3rd shift operation and there will be Saturday / Sunday work.
Overtime is Mandatory.
0.50 cent raise with full benefits after 90 days.
Electrical / Mechanical / Welding / Plumbing is required.
This position must possess all the skills and be able to demonstrate the experience listed.
Must clear drug screening, physical and background checks.

Mechanical: Ability to read, understand and troubleshoot using Blueprints and mechanical drawings.
Must possess the ability to conceptually design and implement mechanical solutions
Troubleshoot all mechanical problems for plant equipment
Diagnose all mechanical problems.
Preventative Maintenance on all plant equipment.
Repair and rebuild of all tools, machines and other equipment at the plant.

Electrical: Comprehension and understanding of signal wiring and control for trouble shooting purposes.
Comprehension of Motor control, circuitry and wiring for trouble shooting purposes.
Wiring capabilities for all supply, motor control and control circuits.
Trouble shooting abilities for all above listed circuitry.
Conduit and control circuit installations and wiring
Ability to read and understand wiring diagrams and ladder logic
Ability to create and alter general PLC programming.
Ability to troubleshoot PLC programming and programmable logic.
Ability to create, wire and troubleshoot electrical control systems (Motors, Starters, Push Button Stations, Valve Controls, Safety Switches, etc…)

Pneumatics: Troubleshoot all pneumatic system.
Repair of all pneumatic failures.
Comprehend and analyze all valve and control systems.
Ability to design and install completely functional and safe systems from an operational concept
Ability to read and troubleshoot using pneumatic blue prints.
Ability to size and specify design criteria including piping, valves and controls.

Hydraulics: General maintenance and troubleshooting knowledge.
Ability to design and install functional and safe systems from an operation concept
ability to comprehend and troubleshoot using hydraulic blueprints.
Ability to size and specify design criteria

Plumbing: Ability to design size and specify using conceptual design. (Size, type and placement)
Steel tube - Rubber hose – PVC - black pipe - Conduit (all types)
General Skills
Welding (Stick and Mig)
Fork truck operator
Proficient with cutting torches
