Home Instead Senior Care is looking for non-medical, caring and compassionate CAREGivers to become a part of our team and join our mission of enhancing the lives of aging adults throughout our community which consists of Central and North Lake and Sumter Counties. Areas include Mount Dora, Eustis, Tavares, Leesburg, Wildwood, Fruitland Park, Lady Lake and The Villages. We are seeking mature minded, well rooted residents of our community with a proven ability to build and maintain friendships.
Home Instead Senior Care provides a variety of non-medical services that allow seniors to remain in their home and meet the challenges of aging. Home Health Aid and Certified Nurses Aid experience is necessary to provide hands on personal care; however, the majority of our clients do not need personal care so being a HHA or CNA is not mandatory for all positions. All CAREGiver employment is part-time. Starting hourly rates are from $9.00 to $10.00.

Requirements to be a CAREGiver:

- Companionship and conversation
- Light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation
- Medication and appointment reminders
- Assistance with grooming and bathing (Home Health Aids and CNAs only)
- Assistance with toileting and incontinence issues (Home Health Aids and CNAs only)
- Alzheimer’s Care
Requirements to be a CAREGiver:
- Ability to treat and care for seniors and their property with dignity and respect
- Ability to communicate with clients in a friendly and congenial manner
- Complete a criminal background check (applicant pays state fee), Moving Vehicle (DMV) check and drug screen
- Possess a valid driver’s license and valid auto insurance (some positions require Business Use).
