Job Description:
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is responsible for the well bring and nursing care of all clients assigned during his or her shift or tour of duty. He or she provides nursing services following the patient's treatment plan or physician's directions (including hourly work, pill fills, and wound care); assesses patients and responds to and reports any changes in condition; and distributes and charts medications.
The ideal candidate has a diploma in Nursing at a minimum (Bachelor's degree preferred) and experience in home care is required. He or she must have reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, a clean driving record and current automobile insurance, CPR and First aid. Fluent English speaking and writing skills, empathy and the ability to listen, good time management skills, and professional dress, speech, and behavior are all required for this position.
