We are looking for a Business Development Manager in our East Lansing location.  Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Responsibilities
 
  • Reflect the core values of Be Do Have Inc., (d.b.a. an independently owned and operated Home Instead Senior Care franchise).
  • Demonstrates the ability to establish professional relationships with referral providers and elicit critical information regarding needs, challenges and potential business opportunities.
  • Responsible for researching and developing client relationships and producing referrals.
  • Demonstrates understanding and practical application of consultative sales process, and knowledge of Home Instead Senior Care brand.  Effectively presents Home Instead Senior Care marketing materials and services to referral providers.  This will include one on one meetings as well as planning, arranging and conducting formal group presentations to referral providers.
  • In conjunction with Home Instead Senior Care franchise leadership, develops marketing plan, which details weekly and monthly networking activities, to focus the Business Development Manager on meeting or exceeding established goals.
  • Sells consultatively and makes recommendations to referral providers of the various solutions Home Instead Senior Care offers to meet their needs.
  • Develops a database of qualified leads from referrals through face-to-face cold calling on referral providers, email, telephone and Web.
  • Maintains accurate records of all sales and prospecting activities including sales calls; presentations; closed sales; and follow-up activities within the assigned territory, including the use of BOSS/ACES to maintain accurate records to maximize territory potential.
  • Adheres to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes and ensures that they are communicated and implemented within the team.
  • Participates and contributes to the development of educational programs offered to the community, clients, prospects, co-workers and CAREGivers.


Qualifications
  • College Degree or equivalent work experience
  • 5+ years of related business or sales experience
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license
