Great Indian Food takes pride in providing quality and quick customer service with our collaborative team work environment. We are looking to grow our team in our San Francisco restaurant. Our Restaurant Team Members take great pride in greeting all customers and preparing and serving quality, quick great Indian food for dine in or take out. Our team keeps the food prep area and pouring area clean as well as the restaurant table areas very clean. Our staff keeps high standards on food preparation, cleaning and sanitation, customer service and working as a team so that every customer has the best experience.

We are looking to hire Restaurant Team Members with the following qualifications:
People Oriented: Greet and serve customers with friendly, quality experience. Work with fellow associates and possess good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to speak clearly and listen attentively to guests and other employees
Have the ability to maintain a professional appearance at all times and display a positive and enthusiastic approach to all assignments
Be able to exhibit a cheerful and helpful attitude, and provide exceptional customer service
Be able to adapt to changing customer volume levels with a sense of urgency
Your knowledge of our menu and outstanding people skills will help you interact with our guests as you make food and beverage suggestions to them
Maintaining appropriate portion control and consistently monitoring food levels on the line
Strong skills in time management and organization, with excellent attention to detail
Ability to take direction and execute team/company objectives
Basic mathematical skills and the ability to handle money accurately
Reading, writing, basic math and verbal communication skills required.
Attention to detail in food/service quality and cleanliness
Maintain clean uniform and understands that he/she is always on stage
Mobility required during the entire shift.
Attendance and Punctuality a must
Ensure 100% compliance with all restaurant policies and procedures, including health and safety standards
Conflict management skills, analytical skills and a high degree of emotional intelligence in order to anticipate, recognize and solve guest issues
Ability to maintain a high degree of pace and intensity for an extended period of time including sitting, standing, lifting and bending
Able to prioritize
Maintain personal health and sanitation standards
Must be reliable and dependable by being punctual, adhering to a schedule and covering shifts as necessary

Our Restaurant Team Members duties Include:
Demonstrates basic knowledge of menu and responds to guest inquiries and concerns in a courteous manner.
Follow food and restaurant safety standards and guidelines.
Ringing up customers quickly and correctly
Coordination and consolidation for all outgoing food items assuring high standards of plate presentation and food quality
Bring all dishware to the dish room
Make sure the chairs and floors around tables are clean
Notifies the manager of any guest complaints no matter how small it may seem
Wipe down shelves, pick debris up off the floor and wipe down counters
Maintain continuous restroom checks
Review work procedures and operational problems in order to determine ways to improve service, performance and safety
Notifies manager of any problems with equipment or breakage that would affect the supply of necessary items for service
