Laundry Host - Full-time

Will ensure the operational abilities of the Laundry Department by preparing laundry for the hotel.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare laundry for the hotel including washing, drying, ironing, and folding linen
• Works as a member of the overall hotel team to ensure that each guest has an experience that exceeds their expectations
• Maintains a “can do” and a “guests first” attitude at all times.
• Resolves guest complaints to the satisfaction of the guest; responds promptly to any guest request for service.
• Arrives at work in a timely fashion in accordance with the posted schedule.
• Abides by established uniform guidelines.
• Act with integrity, honesty and knowledge that promote the culture, values and philosophy of Hyatt Place. Displays dignity and respect of others at all times.

Attends scheduled training sessions within the hotel as dictated by the brand and the hotel management.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Desire to fulfill the needs of others with a “can do” attitude
• Ability to communicate with others in a friendly and respectful manor
• Reading and writing abilities in English to review and comprehend written instructions from supervisors regarding assignments.
• Must be able to stand and demonstrate well-paced mobility for periods of up to four hours.
• Must be able to consistently bend, squat, stoop, stretch, lift, and climb.
• Must have the ability to lift, carry, or pull heavy objects weighing 50 pounds or greater.
