The Inn at Henderson’s Wharf is looking for an outgoing self-starter with a “can do” attitude to serve as butler in pampering our deserving guests. This individual’s performance will be a reflection of the pride that he displays in his personal appearance and work ethic. Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for managing and maintaining house inventory relevant to the job
- Responsible for the handling of guest’s luggage and unpacking and packing of it as necessary
- Responsible for the parking and retrieval of guest’s vehicles (including manual transmission)
- Responsible for breakfast room service as well as the delivery of dinner room service
- Responsible for the pressing/steaming of the guest’s requested garments
- Responsible for requested shoe shining for our guests
- Responsible for any guest requests that are deemed possible
Job Requirements – The perfect candidate ideally possesses:
- Excellent Customer Service Qualities
- Inventory Experience
- Shoe-shining and garment treatment experience
- Knowledge of Food and Wine Pairings
- The ability to work both mornings and evenings
- Butler experience a plus
