Seasonal Warehouse Supervisor

We have an immediate opening for a Seasonal Warehouse Supervisor.

Must be able to work various shifts per week.

Operating on 63 acres, it is America’s only downtown area theme and water park. Elitch Gardens is open May through October and offers 53 rides, live entertainment, shopping, dining and breathtaking views of Denver from every angle.

JOB SUMMARY: Warehouse Supervisors are responsible for Warehouse Team Members, moving products, and filling out required documentation.

SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for handing out daily job assignments, resolving issues that arise, keeping the warehouse clean and organized.
• Assisting revenue supervisors with any merchandise or product they may need.
• Delivering product to various locations in the park.
• Unloading product and putting product away when delivered.
• Picking product up for delivery and performing will calls.
• May be responsible for safely operating various vehicles.
• Possibly responsible for helping the manager with computer entry, inventory and any other office work that may come up.
• Assisting with the daily paperwork and inputting in the inventory system.
• Checking in the product as it comes off the truck and verifying product count.

OTHER QUALIFICATIONS:

• Basic math skills and computer knowledge are required.
• Good communication skills and ability to work with others is a must.
• This position requires a current valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• You must possess oral and written English skills, and must be able to communicate with guests and other employees effectively.
• Previous warehouse experience is preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• May be required to work in various weather conditions.
• Available to work overtime.
• Available to work weekends and holidays
• Attention to detail.

• Must be able to walk and stand for up to eight hours a shift.
• Requires continuous kneeling and bending.
• Requires continuous reaching above shoulder, pushing and pulling.
• Requires occasional lifts and carries up to 40 pounds.
• Requires occasional carries up to 165 pounds with the assistance of a two-wheel hand truck.
• Requires manual and bi-manual dexterity, fine and gross motor skills, eye/hand coordination, near vision, hearing and speech.

* This is a seasonal position with a maximum period of employment being twenty six weeks. Hours will vary each week. During peak season hours will typically be 20 to 40 hours a week. The employment period is not guaranteed nor are the hours.
