Finishing Operator

We have a full-time opening for a Finishing Operator.

Must be able to work various shifts per week.

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Be authorized to work in the United States.

Wage: $12

Duties:
- Willing and able to work flexible shifts in multiple departments plus over time as needed.
- Support all coating and finishing activities within the work cell.
- Job duties may also include handling of hazardous material and hazardous waste, adhesive compounding and quality assurance testing procedures.
- Work safely and maintain a safe working environment.
- Inspect and ensure that the product meets current specifications.
- Generate and maintain accurate production information, including inventory transactions by using MFG/Pro.
- Participate in manufacturing team problem solving sessions.
- Meet/exceed facility standard for attendance and punctuality.
- Complete required training to meet goals and objectives.

Requirements:
- HS Diploma or GED.
- Willingness and ability to work flexible schedule in multiple departments plus overtime as needed.
- Computer proficiency with ability to learn various computer applications quickly.
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. without assistance, repeatedly throughout work day.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong service orientation.
- Strong work ethic and demonstrated reliability.
- Positive work attitude and conduct.
- Strong initiative, integrity and judgment skills.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to work both individually and in a team-based environment.
- Experience in manufacturing environment preferred.
- The shifts for these positions will be rotating so applicant must be open to shift.
