Aerotek is seeking a Manufacturing Electrician that has strong troubleshooting ability with mechanical and electrical systems for a contract opening with a large client in Little Rock, AR.
Position Responsibilities:
*Perform mechanical and electrical repairs to plant production machinery to include, but not limited to: motors, pumps, transformers, generators, instruments, lighting systems, power distribution devices, servomotors, hydraulic/pneumatic components, conveyor systems,
*Performs Preventative Maintenance to plant production machinery and equipment
*Works according to diagrams, sketches, operations manuals and manufacturer’s specifications. Uses hand and power tools and precision measuring/testing instruments.
*Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, vendor drawings and manuals in the performance of this job. Provide accurate updates to documentation when required.
Position Requirements:
*High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent required
*A minimum of 3 years of related experience
*Ability to troubleshoot hydraulic, mechanical and electrical components on heavy equipment
*Ability to read and understand electrical and mechanical/hydraulic schematics
*Experience troubleshooting and replacing programmable logic controllers (PLC's) a plus
