Pitney Bowes is seeking a knowledge management focused technical professional who will ensure exceptional handling of customer concerns and will drive technical data accuracy in various Knowledge Centered Support (KCS) repositories. This exciting position is designed for the life-long learner with strong written communication skill who can quickly evaluate technical scenarios or documents, revise to existing knowledge management standards, and disseminate as appropriate. The successful incumbent in this position will receive technical training on increasingly complex integrated software solutions. Working with Subject Matter Experts they will drive content creation to address identified gaps in the knowledgebase for internal and external clients. We are seeking the talented individual who desires to drive directly to success for our clients and team members.

Essential Functions:

The Integrated Solutions Software Support Agent will provide over-the-phone and remote viewer session diagnostic support and repair of integrated customer software solutions and related peripherals. This dedicated professional will interact with our team of similarly-skilled agents to provide top-notch support and will participate on special project teams as required.
Primary responsibilities include:
- Delivery of a world class customer experience on Pitney Bowes integrated software solutions and peripherals
- Building personal knowledge of Pitney Bowes solutions and software support technologies as required
- Working under the direct supervision of technology professionals and senior staff to understand and improve practices, policies, procedures and offerings
- Rapidly learning and improving proper CRM tools and procedures, evolving knowledge management practices, customer-handling techniques, and diagnostic & troubleshooting skills
- Providing professional status updates to customers and to internal systems keeping stakeholders well informed
- Taking ownership of issues until resolved
- Driving or participating in special projects and other duties as assigned

Qualification
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with PB Products or equivalent shipping/mailing software
- COMP TIA A+ Certification, N+ Certification or equivalent certification
- Knowledge of HIPAA and privacy compliance requirements
- Experience with programming languages, SQL server, and with .NET framework

Required Qualifications:
- Strong interest in software support
- Strong desire to contribute to the building of an extraordinary support methodology
- Associate's degree in an information technology field or equivalent experience
- Understanding of networking technologies
- Working knowledge of data structures, databases, and system integration
- Ability to work effectively alone or in team under direct supervision
- Excellent interpersonal and customer handling skills
- Ability to think critically and to efficiently diagnose complex problems
