Production Supervisor

-Ensure methods are established to meet production schedules and co-ordinate work activities with other departments
-Knowledge of 5S practices and principles, which include conducting and reviewing weekly 5S audits
-Ensure resolution of work problems and recommend measures to improve productivity, which includes identifying root cause analysis and Kaizen activities
-Provide direction and leadership to production personnel
-Coach, develop and train employees on process and systems
-Support the quality system
-Ensure the quality of the product that is manufactured
-Participate in and provide performance feedback to employees
-Address employee concerns and involve Sr. Management as necessary
-Ensure a harassment free and safe workplace
-Support team to achieve plant metrics as it relates to safety, waste reduction, quality and output
-Additional duties as necessary

Working hours: All Shifts (1st/2nd/3rd)

Desired Skills & Experience
Candidates must have a good understanding of manufacturing processes and previous supervision experience is required.
Looking for a dynamic supervisor to lead the manufacturing group to improve the quality and efficiency.

Required Skills
-High School Diploma Required
-Degree is preferable, but not required
-Knowledge and skills in MS Windows and MS Office
-Good interpersonal skills and ability to work as a team member
-Well-developed communication skills. Ability to communicate with all levels of management
-Safety Management, Quality Focus, Good judgment and decision making ability.
