Health & Wellness Generalist

Position Summary:

TeleTech is searching for a dynamic individual to fill a Human Capital Generalist-Health & Wellness (HWG). This position will serve as the representative driving all initiatives relating to Benefits & Health and Wellness programs.

Our Human Capital Generalist-Health & Wellness Duties & Responsibilities will include:


Benefits:

  • The Health and Wellness Generalist (HWG) will be responsible for weekly New Hire Orientation meetings, with the focus on ensuring that all employees are fully educated on TeleTech Benefit offerings and the enrollment process.
  • The HWG will function as the day-to-day contact for Benefits questions and issues and escalating larger issues to the Corporate Benefits group as needed.
  • Collection of documentation and paperwork pertaining to Qualifying Life Events and entering tickets into the Oracle system to allow employees to make benefit changes.


Health and Wellness:

  • Implementation and execution of all Health and Wellness calendar activities, including competitions, Lunch and Learn seminars and Wellness Incentive activities.
  • Utilize creative, innovative, non-redundant, programs and solutions to engage employees in the Health and Wellness program activities
  • HWG will work with the Corporate Benefits team to generate high levels of employee participation in employer-sponsored Wellness Programs by using creative means to highlight the benefits of the Wellness program, with the overall goal to help employees achieve powerful, sustained, healthy life choices.
  • HWG's will be responsible to coordinate and facilitate educational programs and other mediums to improve employee's knowledge of their benefits, understanding their personal health, how they can be a better consumer and other related In Balance topics.
  • HWG's will be responsible for keeping Human Capital and Operations site leadership up to date on the In Balance activities, participation goals and events at a site level.


Communication:

  • Serve as the site communications contact for Health and Wellness, ensuring that communication mediums are appropriately utilized and managed for timely and effective means of communicating corporate and client activities.
  • HWG's will be responsible for encouraging participation/engagement via face to face time, personal interactions, time on the floor, Weekly Wellness, focus groups, success stories, etc. in the various In Balance Wellness programs.
  • HWG's will be responsible for creating effective supplemental communications (e.g. email "blasts," flyers, SharePoint, desk drops, bulletin boards, OneSite and Iris) to support national In Balance communications to encourage site participation in events.
  • HWG's will be responsible for working with Operations and Human Capital leaders in creating customized solutions for site-specific issues as they arise
  • HWG's will act as community engagement ambassador internally and externally to enhance TeleTech's standing as an employer of choice, thereby increasing the employee life cycle at TeleTech.


Job Specifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent training and experience
  • At least one year of Human Resources/Benefits Administration experience
  • Experience with corporate event planning and coordination
  • Experience with Health and Wellness Initiatives/Programs is desired as well as a strong desire to promote this initiative
  • Project management experience preferred
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills
  • Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, MS Word and MS Publisher
  • Ability to travel as required (expected to be less than 25%)
