We have an immediate opening for a General Manager (Hotel) at Marriott Hotel.

Must be able to work various shifts per week.

Requirements

General Manager (Hotel)

  • Be 100% guest and team focused with a high energy level!
  • Lead the site in operating a guest-focused, profitable hotel with specific accountability for multiple departments.
  • Provide dynamic, guest focused leadership in the execution of operational objectives through unwavering support of hotel team members and thorough, timely follow up.
  • Lead the sales effort of the hotel, focusing in support of our Director of Sales in generating revenue opportunities. Conducting outside sales calls including cold calling is a position requirement.
  • Work daily to improve knowledge and skill level in all essential revenue and operational areas.
  • Maintain guest confidence through prompt and courteous communication with guests and associates.

Job Requirements

  • Successful hotel experience as a General Manager or comparable role is a must. Minimum total of 3 or more years of solid, progressive experience is desired.
  • The ability to lead a high performance team in an autonomous environment is a must
  • A BA/BS in Hospitality Management or related field preferred.
  • Experience in this hotel's specific brand or in other select-service properties preferred
