Housekeeper

The housekeeping role is responsible the cleanliness of our client’s hotel guest rooms and the overall hotel appearance. Must be willing to adhere to strict grooming and appearance standards including the willingness to remove all facial piercings and to keep tattoos covered at all times.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Duties include, but not limited to:

- Cleaning rooms and general public areas of the Hotel per detailed instructions and training.

-Responsible for upkeep and cleanliness of rooms and common areas of high quality corporate hotel. These areas include but not limited to individual rooms, room restrooms, windows, hallways, elevator, utility rooms, reception area, break area, building exterior, carpets, etc.

-Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

-Must be able to follow written procedures covering such items as cleaning, making beds, washing linens, folding towels, ironing pillow cases, and emergency procedures,

-Able to lift 45 pounds, operate all types of cleaning equipment, clean and reach floor level, tub level and ceiling levels, able to complete detailed cleaning checklists.

-Able to arrive on time for work and some overtime may be required, able to greet all customers with a smile and pleasant verbal greeting, must be willing to participate in outside grounds pickup/cleanliness as necessary,

-Able to take verbal and written instruction, and able to carry out any other responsibility assigned by management.

-High school diploma required.

-Previous experience in related work within hotel industry preferred.
