Primary Responsibilities:



  • Explain data requirements to client and downstream
    impacts of missing or invalid data.
  • Develop detailed source to target mapping from client
    data to our data specifications and explain the mapping to internal
    technical team members.
  • Keen knowledge of healthcare, and even if they've not
    worked in claims, they can show they have a basic understanding of how
    healthcare systems interact with claims.
  • Strong communication skills, strong interpersonal
    skills, strong analytic skills, flexibility in how they interpret data to
    stakeholders.
  • Develop strategies and standards to improve the
    customer onboarding process and experience.
  • Strong database experience and the ability to query
    data, compile data analysis, trends, error analysis and other information
    to assist clients to improve their data quality.
  • Act as the liaison between Business and Systems
    Analysts, Developers and project management groups.
  • Load client data files into Oracle and/or SQL
    databases, query data to determine completeness and quality and report
    issues and concerns to client.
  • Assist client in mapping correct data to specified formats.
  • Plan and manage assignments of varying scope.


Requirements

Requirements:



  • Bachelor's Degree OR High School Diploma/GED with 5+ years
    of equivalent work experience
  • 5+ years of Data Analysis experience
  • 5+ years of experience working with and knowledge of
    Relational Databases such as SQL Server and Oracle
  • 5+ years of experience writing and maintaining data
    specifications
  • Proficient with MS Office (Including Word, Excel,
    Outlook, PowerPoint, Access)
  • 3+ years' experience with direct customer contact
  • Experience with Medical Claims


Assets:



  • Commercial Exchanges experience
  • Medicare experience as it relates to risk adjustment or
    submissions
  • Proficiency with MS Project
  • Proficiency with MS Visio
  • Healthcare Industry experience
  • EDI experience with 837, 999, 277 and other standard EDI
    formats is required
  • Experience working with multiple cross-functional teams
  • Experience with WTX mapping tool
