Primary Responsibilities:
- Explain data requirements to client and downstream
impacts of missing or invalid data. - Develop detailed source to target mapping from client
data to our data specifications and explain the mapping to internal
technical team members. - Keen knowledge of healthcare, and even if they've not
worked in claims, they can show they have a basic understanding of how
healthcare systems interact with claims. - Strong communication skills, strong interpersonal
skills, strong analytic skills, flexibility in how they interpret data to
stakeholders. - Develop strategies and standards to improve the
customer onboarding process and experience. - Strong database experience and the ability to query
data, compile data analysis, trends, error analysis and other information
to assist clients to improve their data quality. - Act as the liaison between Business and Systems
Analysts, Developers and project management groups. - Load client data files into Oracle and/or SQL
databases, query data to determine completeness and quality and report
issues and concerns to client. - Assist client in mapping correct data to specified formats.
- Plan and manage assignments of varying scope.
Requirements
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree OR High School Diploma/GED with 5+ years
of equivalent work experience - 5+ years of Data Analysis experience
- 5+ years of experience working with and knowledge of
Relational Databases such as SQL Server and Oracle - 5+ years of experience writing and maintaining data
specifications - Proficient with MS Office (Including Word, Excel,
Outlook, PowerPoint, Access) - 3+ years' experience with direct customer contact
- Experience with Medical Claims
Assets:
- Commercial Exchanges experience
- Medicare experience as it relates to risk adjustment or
submissions - Proficiency with MS Project
- Proficiency with MS Visio
- Healthcare Industry experience
- EDI experience with 837, 999, 277 and other standard EDI
formats is required - Experience working with multiple cross-functional teams
- Experience with WTX mapping tool
