We are currently hiring a Technical Architect for our Applications Services Group in the Financial and Enterprise Admin Domain. In this role you will work as a key part of a dynamic team focused on designing and architecting major UHG systems throughout UHG.
This is high visibility IT role with considerable opportunity for driving innovation. This position will also have responsibilities within our centralized IT architecture repository. The ideal candidate should have development, design and/or architecture experience and also have Casewise and Planview experience.
Job responsibilities:
Conducting stakeholder interviews and user testing sessions, creating workflows and schematics, as well as delivering information architecture and click-through prototypes
Existing, in-flight and future projects will be impacted by the role
Develop architectural approach to meet key business objectives
Develop architectural diagrams to illustrate architectural complexities and interactions
Work with business owners, analysts, solution engineers, development teams and infrastructure services to communicate application and data architectures
Ensure project successfully implements the designed solution following architectural tenets
Conduct vendor analysis and proof-of-concepts for new technologies/solutions
Help assess the planning for retirement of products and migration plans for the functional evolution of the system infrastructure

Requirements
Requirements:
Minimum 4 years of development including full life cycle activities
Minimum 4 years mixed environment application development
Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
Assets:
Proficiency in MS Office (PowerPoint, Access)
Minimum 1 year of experience with PCI DSS
Proficiency with MS Visio
Healthcare Industry experience
Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) experience
Experience working with Agile methodologies
