Pediatric PACU - Post-Anesthesia Nurse - (Pedi PACU RN - Peds PACU RN)
StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: 12 N, 10 D Pay Rate: $28.71 *
The role of the pediatric PACU nurse (pediatric post-anesthesia care unit RN) is provide care for pediatric patients recovering from anesthesia, including general, local, spinal, blocks, and monitored anesthesia care (MAC). Pedi PACU nurses must have the ability to recover critically ill (ICU) patients. Because of the possibility of rapid changes in the PACU, the care rendered by pedi PACU RNs involves diligent and continuous monitoring, assessment, intervention and reassessment.
Required Qualifications
Nurse manager or assistant nm references from last two jobs
2 years pediatric pacu experience - must have PICU experience
Start date: ASAP
Shift: 1OD (1 position) 12N (1 position), the weekend requirement is every third weekend
