Senior Safety Specialist

HS&E Technician:: * Track and drive closure of HSE action items. * Maintain A3s for all HSE Teams * Lead HSE Teams * Assure written programs meet corporate standards * Developing a site specific HSE&S management system * Assist contracted Hygienist in scheduling employee sampling annually * Proficient in Word® and Excel Outlines and implements training programs about employee safety procedures and accident protection and prevention. Responsibilities also include developing and distributing educational materials, inspecting company facilities, and recommending corrections or additional precautions to ensure compliance to established regulations. Requires a bachelor's degree in area of specialty and 4-6 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Works under minimal supervision. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.
