Busy Tier I plastics firm located in Troy is now hiring an experienced Maintenance Technician for their 3rd shift. The ideal candidate will have a well-rounded background in machine maintenance with a minimum of 2-5 years of experience (preferably plastic injection molding, extrusions or compressions). This is a full time, direct hire position and an excellent opportunity to grow with a successful company!
Required Skills:
Experience working on plastic injection machines is preferred (will consider other experience)
Expertise in hydraulic and pneumatic disciplines or previous military maintenance experience
Experience with troubleshooting PLCs and proficient in blueprint reading
Strong preventative maintenance skills and able to follow a PM schedule
Must possess good problem solving and communication skills
Work independently, be a self-starter and take leadership
Excellent attendance record and team player attitude
Able to pass a pre-employment drug screen
High School Diploma or GED equivalent
Able to attain a hi-lo license
Compensation and Benefits:
Hours: 3rd shift (10:00pm-6:00am)
Pay: $18-23.00/hr., depending on experience
