Operations Support Sr Analyst

Responsibilities

This is a reporting and analysis position working in the MSO (Cable company partners, Comcast, TWC, Cox and Bright House) Operations.

• To oversee the daily install and order activity of the MSO-to-VZW data feeds to actively identify any issues and to create reporting.  This involves monitoring and troubleshooting several data sources such as APIs, Go To Broadband, and flat files.
• To design, code, implement and monitor new and existing automated reports created through ColdFusion, Teradata, and SQL Server.
• To develop and maintain strategic partnerships with the different MSOs to identify problems and to enhance the overall experience.
• Create and stakeholder IT request templates (RTs)  and partner with IT to complete projects and drive solutions to improve the MSO Operations.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

1. Develop, monitor and maintain automated reporting infrastructure utilizing such tools and systems as SQL Server SSIS, Adobe ColdFusion, NCR Teradata, MS Office.  This system is used to generate and distribute daily reports for MSO Operations.

1. Monitor daily install and order activity to identify any issues in the data feeds. This relates to all data that VZW receives on a daily basis from all of the MSOs.

1. Develop Ad Hoc reporting requests from MSO leadership and supporting teams as needed with a short turnaround time.

1. Create and oversee new and existing RTs for process improvement.

1. Maintain a strong working relationship with external MSO partners to help identify issues and improve processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree (preferred) or equivalent work experience

• 3-5 years reporting and analysis experience, business experience in the wireless industry is a plus

• 1-2 years working with external vendors and partners
• 3-5 years working with, and an proficiency in various reporting systems and tools such as SQL Server including SSIS, ColdFusion (or another web server language) MS Access and MS Excel
• 1-2 years project management experience

• Requires a range of skills within a technical and professional discipline including an aptitude for programming
• Being able to manage, track and provide status updates on several projects
• Exceptional analytical, quantitative, proactive thinking and organizational abilities.
• Strong problem solving skills including the ability to propose and articulate several options to leadership team
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.  Must be self-motivated and highly adaptable to change.
• Ability to work in a team environment with our team as well as other business groups.
• Ability to participate in cross-functional teams is also critical to the success of this position.
• Strong knowledge reporting terms and methods and VZW KPI metrics
