Primary Responsibilities

The back of house (BOH) employee is responsible for ensuring that all guests have an excellent dining experience.

• Understands the role and responsibilities of the BOH position. Adhere to the BOH uniform policy and company policies.
• Perform all functions of the BOH position. Have a working knowledge of food production and recipe following skills.
• Greet and acknowledge all guests with a friendly and sincere attitude. Anticipate and exceed all guest expectations during their dining experience at our restaurants.
• Ensure quality food for guests.
• Support all back of house team members.
• Effectively serve the needs of the guests and ensure their expectations are exceeded.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary work station using “clean as you go” practices. Follow opening and closing checklists when working the station. Monitor overall restaurant/station cleanliness and completion of side work responsibilities.
• Comply with all company policies and procedures.
• Complete any assignments assigned by the manager during the shift.

• Must have the ability to keep a positive attitude while working in a fast paced, high energy work environment.
• Must have the ability to keep a positive attitude while managing multiple tasks at the same time under pressure.
• Must be able to speak clearly and understand and listen attentively to guests, supervisors, and fellow employees.
• Must be service and team orientated and have patience to deliver “extreme” quality of food & service to our guests.

Physical Requirements

• Will be required to use physical capabilities such as: walking, bending, kneeling, lifting, climbing, and carrying.
• Will transport and carry objects including heavy objects such as boxes, pots, and etc.
• Must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for periods of time.
