Position Description:
Operational trainer is responsible for customer service new hire training, customer advocacy and continuing education, systems and tools training, ad-hoc projects, floor support and other training responsibilities as assigned.
Positions in this function are responsible for training within a function such as Customer Service; May also be called upon as a subject matter expert in the design process. Other duties as assigned
Core Competencies:
- Must be team-oriented, possess a positive attitude and work well with others
- Must be flexible and able to work in a fast paced environment
- Ability to work overtime and irregular hours when needed
- Excellent attendance record
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Possess good organization and time management skills
Requirements
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED is the minimum requirement
- 1+ year of professional experience in a training or learning & development environment is required
- Must have at least current basic proficiency skill level with MS Office Suite: Word, Excel & PowerPoint
- Must be open to possible travel to other sites for training (up to 25% national which is a requirement)
- Must have experience giving a presentation in front of an audience
- College degree is preferred
- Possess or willing to obtain Pharmacy Tech certification is preferred
- Knowledge of ASTD Membership preferred
- P.O.E.T (Principles of Effective Training) is a plus
- WebEx experience is helpful
