JOB TITLE: Warehouse Supervisor
PURPOSE/OVERALL OBJECTIVE:
The purpose of this position is to perform administrative and supervisory function related to all activities of the cable materials warehouse and customer premise equipment issue / recovery operation at multiple locations. Maintain an efficient flow and acceptable quality of customer premise equipment (converters, modems, ETC. - " CPE " ), and plant materials both into and out of the warehouse to various employee technicians and retail locations. Provide high levels of inventory accuracy, and efficiently manage the workforce to optimize daily output.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Supervise, interview, select, train, promote, schedule, motivate, evaluate, and discipline warehouse personnel. Develop employees for future growth
Monitor employee production and assign job tasks
- Supervise the utilization of workforce in both the CPE preparation and general materials warehouse areas to optimize the productivity and service level of the warehouse
- Effectively manage the flow of the cable parts inventory using a computerized warehouse inventory management system (People Soft Financial Inventory)
- Manage the min/max inventory system and provide timely requisition and reliable in-stock status of all replenishment parts through established fulfillment
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS/ YEARS OF MINIMUM RELEVANT EXPERIENCE:
- Must have a valid driver ' s license and a good driving record
- Minimum of 2-4 years warehouse and inventory control management experience
ADDITIONAL REQUIRED SPECIFIC SKILLS/ EXPERTISE
- Ability to read, write and perform required arithmetic
- Punctual, regular, and consistent attendance
- Ability to organize work with appropriate timeliness and interpret and follow instructions or specifications
- Thorough knowledge of warehousing, inventory control, use of computers and basic mathematics
- Ability to manage multiple projects utilizing prioritization and delegation skills for maximum operational productivity
- Ability to work effectively and harmoniously with other employees at various organizational levels
- Knowledge of proper lifting and carrying techniques for loads up to 70 lbs
- Knowledge of the operation of a computerized warehouse management system especially PeopleSoft Financials and ICOM ' s databases
- Ability to operate a PC in conjunction with a functional knowledge of Windows-based software and working knowledge of Excel
- Ability to safely maneuver pallet jack, hand truck and forklift through warehouse. Recent forklift certification preferred
REQUIRED MINIMUM EDUCATION/ AND OR CERTIFICATIONS:
High School Diploma or equivalency

Position schedule is 7:00 am - 4:00pm Monday through Friday, some overtime may be required but not guarantee
