The Marketer-Community Outreach Coordinator is responsible for promoting the home care agency’s vision and mission in the marketplace and generating revenue through field sales.
In order to meet these objectives, the Marketer-Community Outreach Coordinator will identify referral sources and foster productive relationships by offering targeted solutions to their accounts’ specific needs.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:
• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare management, marketing, public relations, business development, or social services preferred. Equivalent experience may be considered.
• Two (2) years sales and/or marketing experience preferred.
• Knowledge of the healthcare industry and the home care market preferred.
• Experience selling new or misunderstood services is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and be accountable for results.
• Excellent public speaking and presentation skills.
• Clean, professional image, behavior and demeanor.
• Experience with Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and other applications.
• Satisfactory background screening results.
• Good driving record and reliable transportation for use on the job.
Major Responsibilities:
The Marketer-Community Outreach Coordinator manages the day-to-day sales efforts of the business and is responsible for:
• Developing and executing a marketing plan to meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual growth targets
• Demonstrating a thorough and complete knowledge of the agency including; our vision, mission and values; the services we provide; and how we differentiate ourselves from other home care agencies
• Identifying, evaluating, and prioritizing potential referral sources within the agency’s territory
• Establishing and maintaining professional relationships with all referral sources, including but not limited to the following:
- independent living facilities
- assisted living facilities
- rehabilitation facilities
- skilled nursing facilities
- skilled home health care agencies
- hospice providers
- physicians/nurse practitioners
• Establishing and maintaining brand awareness through referral source contacts, trade shows and community education efforts
• Representing the agency and its services in a professional, competent and responsive manner
