Aerotek has an opening for an Industrial Maintenance Technician with one of the top automotive manufacturing facilities in Knoxville, TN. These positions are located in East Knox County. Starting pay will be $18.50 per hour with an increase after full time hire.
Job Description:
Employees will be responsible troubleshooting and repair of electrical and mechanical systems in a fast paced manufacturing environment. Electrical experience must include high voltage electricity, PLC troubleshooting (ability to read ladder logic) with a laptop, reading schematics, replacing sensors, working with 3-Phase wiring, and wiring control panels. Mechanical experience will include hydraulics, pneumatics, chain and gear drives. Experience with fabrication as well as strong experience repairing CNC equipment is highly preferred.
Minimum Requirements:
1). High school diploma or GED required
2). Technical degree in a Maintenance field or Journeyman certificate preferred
3). Ability to troubleshoot PLC's and read ladder logic
4). 1-3 years experience as a Maintenance Technician in a manufacturing environment
5). Flexibility to work any shift.
