First Data Business Consultant Job Description The world's largest Merchant Services Company is seeking energetic Sales people for this field based, outside Business Consultant position. This position will give you the ability to sell the full suite of First Data products to small and midsize businesses including: Clover Tablet, Perka Loyalty, Data Analytics, credit, debit, check, gift card, and cash advances. This is accomplished through a consultative sales approach to new and existing clients. The position will also be responsible for retaining clients by building relationships and growing portfolios through relationship management and cross sales. Your sales efforts will be complemented by referrals obtained from a strong working relationship developed with our over 1,400 nationwide bank partnerships and other referral sources, both large and small. You will receive a 4 month guarantee of $1,500 for the first 4 months while you are ramping up. This guarantee can continue through month 9 if you are signing 6 or more new deals per month. This money is non-recoverable and will be paid on top of your base, commissions and residuals. This position offers a tiered compensation structure which includes: • $24k base salary with benefits • Commissions • Multi-year residuals • New hire ramp up bonus • Annual achievement bonuses • Recognition awards and expense reimbursement. In addition, we offer our Sales team continual formalized training and operational support to ensure that you are kept educated on our products to maximize your success. Ideal Candidate Requirements: • Technologically savvy; comfortable with tablet and cloud based solutions • Entrepreneurial spirit • Creative and personableQualifications: • Experience and proven success in selling advanced solutions to small and midsize businesses in a short sales cycle is a strong plus; not required • Ability to develop a plan to effectively produce top line revenue growth by meeting or exceeding key metrics for revenue, account retention, and profitability • Drive growth by continuously creating and selling customer value propositions to new clients and well as the assigned client base that focuses on our competitive advantage while leveraging our broad suite of solutions • Diverse experience networking and prospecting using social media, service organizations, cold calling, and other sales skills to help achieve revenue goals • Strong listening skills to ensure success as main point of contact for your portfolio of clients; relationship management or account management experience a plus • Effective communication skills are required; both written and verbal Preferred Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of formal education and work experience in a similar role.
