Accounts Receivable Clerk - Streamsong Resort - Polk County, FL

Accounts Receivable Clerk is responsible for processing billing for hotel guests and functions. This position requires basic knowledge of accounting operations, mathematical skills, written and verbal English language communication skills, and the ability to respond to guest and associate concerns in a friendly and positive manner.

Prior experience in a AR position or accounting position preferred.


Streamsong is located on a 16,000-acre site in Polk County, Fla., between Tampa and Orlando. Specifically, the resort location is approximately five miles west of the town of Ft. Meade, near the Polk-Hardee County line on the south, Fort Green Road to the west, State Road 630 West along most of the northern perimeter, and District Line Road along most of the eastern boundary.


The resort will open in two phases. The golf courses, the golf clubhouse and its associated meeting and dining facilities opened in December 2012. The main lodge, conference center and all other resort amenities are expected to begin welcoming guests in January 2014.


Streamsong Resort will include 216 guest rooms in the resort's main lodge; 12 guest rooms in the golf course clubhouse; approximately 18,500 total square feet of meeting space; two 18-hole golf courses designed by renowned architects, Bill Coore and Ben Crenshaw of Coore & Crenshaw and Tom Doak of Renaissance Golf Design; three restaurants and two lounge areas; a full-service spa; a lakeside swimming pool; unparalleled Florida bass fishing and other outdoor activities such as birding, hiking and nature trails, and sporting clays.
