Labor & Delivery Nurse - (LD RN)
StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: 12 D, 12 N Pay Rate: $32.39 *
Exclusive order to AMN Healthcare! Serving San Diego since 1967 we provide high quality care and a full range of health care services including medical specialty and emergency services for more than 500,000 members throughout the county. Over 7,700 staff and more than 1,100 quality doctors provide care at our medical facility which has 414 licensed beds and a 78 bed Emergency Department. We are currnetly looking for an experienced Labor & Delivery RN for out 16 bed unit ( L&D PACU 4 beds, L&D OR 2 suites & L&D Triage 6 beds) We required ACLS, BLS, ACLS, NRP, Advance Fetal Heart Monitoring certification (AWHONN) and have an average of 320-390 BPM. We are an exciting team who alwyas put our patients first!
Labor and delivery (LD) nurses provide care to women and their newborns during the antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum and neonatal stages. They provide support and monitor vital signs of the mother and baby during birth and deal with any potential problems. They may also provide support and education to mothers and their families after giving birth. LD nurses are found in hospitals, clinics and physician offices, and maternity or birthing centers.
Required Qualifications
1. Advanced FHM (AWHONN)/ACLS/BLS/NRP
2. 2 years experience
Preferred Qualifications
Float to PP/Pedi or NICU
